Identifying Patterns
When a child experiences sudden or persistent behavioral changes, it can be confusing and stressful for both the child and their family. Behavioral changes can include increased irritability, aggression, withdrawal, anxiety, or difficulty following routines, and they often signal underlying emotional, developmental, or environmental factors.
Through a careful and compassionate evaluation, I help parents understand what may be contributing to these changes. By looking at the whole child—their health, emotions, environment, relationships, and developmental stage—we can identify patterns and causes, rather than just addressing the behaviors themselves.
Comprehensive Assessment and Support
My approach to behavioral changes is thorough and individualized. I gather information from parents, teachers, and caregivers, review developmental and medical history, and observe behaviors directly. I consider factors such as stress, sleep, nutrition, social dynamics, and emotional regulation that may influence behavior.
Based on this assessment, we can develop practical, evidence-based strategies tailored to your child’s needs. These may include parent coaching, behavioral interventions, school recommendations, and integrative approaches that support emotional regulation, social skills, and coping strategies. My goal is to help children regain balance, confidence, and healthy relationships.
