A Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation (CDE) is the first step toward understanding your child’s developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. It provides a complete picture of how your child learns, communicates, manages emotions, and interacts with others.
During this process, we will look beyond surface behaviors to uncover the underlying factors that may be contributing to challenges at home or school. Whether you’re seeking answers about attention, social development, learning, or emotional regulation, the CDE helps bring clarity and direction to your child’s care.
A Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Process
My CDE process is thorough, individualized, and evidence-based. It includes developmental history, standardized assessments, behavioral observations, and input from parents, teachers, or therapists. I evaluate cognitive, emotional, and social functioning, while also considering sleep, nutrition, environment, and family dynamics.
By understanding how all these pieces fit together, we can create an actionable plan tailored to your child’s unique strengths and needs as a team.
This helps families, schools, and care teams work together to support progress and well-being in meaningful, practical ways.
Every child deserves to be understood deeply and supported fully—and my Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation is designed to make that understanding possible.
